Our first match in October was against Zenit for ECC group stage. After lost against Madrid in the first match, i really wanna win this.

Unavailable : Federico Fazio (DC) and Yaya Sanogo (ST) due to injury. Tiago Ilori (DC), Joe Allen (MC) and Juanmi (ST) due to ineligible. Galhardo (DR) due to holiday.

I can say this was a balanced match. Honestly i really afraid we could lost until Dedryck Boyata scored a goal from a corner in 79th minute. We won 1-0.

My next match will be my 100th for Swansea City. I really hope i can win it.

And my 100th match was against Leicester, newly-promoted club and always at the bottom of the table. Really confidence we can win this match.

And we won 2-0. Both goals coming from a corner from Neil Taylor. The first straight to Marilungo and he scored. While the second one, from a corner, cleared by Leicester’s defender, get it to Neil Taylor again, he shot and reflected by Craig Dawson into the goal.

After a promising performance in the match against Leicester, Neil Taylor selected as Team of the Week.

Our next match was against Fulham. After a few straight win, we really high in morale. So i have confidence we can win this also.

Unavailable : Tiago Ilory (DC) due to injury. David Ospina (GK) due to international duty. Galhardo (DR) due to holiday

The first goal happen to an open goal. Fulham’s defender sent the ball back to the keeper, he chest it but straight to Sanogo and he scored. Unfortunately for us, Darren Gibson sent out at 32nd minute. Change the formation a little bit but still we managed to score another one before the break. Its a cooperation play between Sanogo and Sinclair. In 76th minute, Fulham’s player intercepted a pass from Vorm and pass it to the Ibisevic and he scored a consolation goal. While the last goal happen as Stockdale failed to catch a ball in front of the goal instead sent it to his goal post.

Sanogo also create a new record as he scored the quickest goal for Swansea City.

22.10.2013

After one goal and one assist in the match against Fulham, Sanogo listed as Team of the Week.

And in the same day, we had our third match for ECC group stage against Schalke. After beating Zenit last time, i have some confidence to win this match.

Unavailable : Mattia Destro (ST) due to injury. Tiago Ilori (DC), Joe Allen (MC) and Juanmi (ST) due to ineligible. Galhardo (DR) due to holiday.

With high morale, we start the match with style as we scored in the first minute. Thanks to Sanogo as he get a through pass from Dempsey, shot but goal keeper block it, the ball rebound to Sinclair and he scored. The second goal coming from free kick by Verratti, straight to Sinclair and he scored.

Our next match was against Aston Villa. The morale is high but Aston Villa always a team that can give shocking result.

Unavailable : Darron Gibson (MC) is suspended and Mattia Destro (ST) due to injury

Just 15 minutes, we are behind by one goal from a free kick. And i really afraid that we might lose this match. But thanks to Sinclair to create a great chance and great finishing by Sanogo, we managed to levelled the score.

29.10.2013

Our last match in October was against Tottenham for League Cup 4th round. Even though i dont really have confidence against them but in cup-match, anything could happen.

Like i said before, in the cup-match, anything could happen. So i’m willing to take some risk as i use my normal formation, set them to control. And it pays off as Ceri Casey got his first ever goal for Swansea City just in 8th minute. But just 7 minutes after that, Steven Caulker scored one for Tottenham, coming from a corner. Luckily Sanogo managed to score our winning goal as he beat Caulker as shoots from outside the box. Final score: 2-1.

30.10.2013

Ceri Casey becomes our youngest goalscorer at the age of 16 years and 101 days. Such a great record.

CONCLUSION

We almost have the perfect month but Aston Villa scratch our record. But atleast 5 wins and a draw was a very good result.

7 points from 3 matches bring us to second position of the table. Just 2 points different with the leader, Man City.

2 wins against Schalke and Zenit bring us to second position in the table. Its a good position as i target to qualify into knockout round.

Neil Taylor is really good for me this month. He has a very good crossing and also very good at taking corner. With a consistent performance, he becomes our new leader with 7.64 average rating.

In November, we also have 6 matches to play. 4 PL + 2 ECC. The toughes should be against Man City and Madrid in just 4 days. Maybe i will fight the best against City but throw away the match against Madrid.
